Certified Nursing Assistant(C.N.A) Profession is one of the market’s fastest growing jobs in the recent years. C.N.A. provide daily living assistance, bed- side care, and basic nursing procedures to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse. The curriculum covers 80 hours of classroom instruction by Registered Nurses and 40 hours of clinical instruction conducted at a nursing facility. Upon successful program completion, students will be eligible for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Certification Exam (testing fees not included in tuition).
The Certified Nursing Assistant certified program offered by NOVA Nursing Academy entails classroom instructions along with practical experience and clinical supervision. Moreover, students gain experience through clinical activities organized by the NOVA Nursing Academy. The course content and classroom instruction provided to students in the academy focus on basic nursing skills, anatomy, physiology, infection control and nutrition.

The CNA program offered at NOVA Nursing Academy prepares students to:
- Work in a Health Care facility or any other health-care setting on a long-term basis, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Help patients/residents fulfill their basic physical, social and psychological needs.
- Provide care to patients and help them achieve independence in terms of functioning.
- Work as a Care Assistant, Care Partner, Clinical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or a Patient Care Assistant.
